New Mathematics Journals Added to the Library

Per Faculty request, online subscriptions to some new journals title have been added to the Albertsons Library's collection. The journal titles are:

Algebraic and Geometric Topology From Publisher 2001 -
Geometry and Topology From Publisher 1997 -

Online access to these journals can be viewed by inputting the journal title here: http://journals.boisestate.edu/

Additionally, two other subcriptions to titles are in the works. Communications in Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences is currently available but needs to be added to the online journals master list so that we can provide electronic access. Until the title is added to the list, the first issue is available at http://pjm.math.berkeley.edu/camcos/2005/1/index.html

A subscription to Algebra and Number Theory is in process but not yet available online. So keep your eye out for that one. I will let you know when it becomes available.

Need Updates on Recently Published Journals?

Did you know that the table of contents of recently published journals can be emailed to you? This is a great way to keep track of the journals and research areas that interest you.

The library provides this service through the Journals List on the library's homepage. Just set up an account under the My Journals option located at the top of the Journal's List webpage then select the titles you would like emailed to your inbox.

Another option that can deliver journal table of contents to you are RSS feeds provided directly by the publisher. Have you noticed the list of recently published articles at the bottom of this webpage? That content was added through an RSS feed.

Both of these services are simple to set up and once you have selected the titles you are interested in the information is sent to you directly with little or no maintenance needed on your part whatsoever.

Please contact me for further information on how to use these services.
